The Historic Cottage in San Clemente Wedding – Diane & Jerry
Meet Diane & Jerry. I had met Diane at a bridal show last year. She was with her best friends – all Teachers! I was so happy when she called me and we met one afternoon after school. She brought her Ipad with tons of gorgeous photos to show me – she wanted a beachy, rustic, vintage feel with succulents. After meeting the couple together, I knew it would be a very special wedding and it sure was. The day was full of love and joy for these two……..
They had already booked the Historic Cottage which gave us a head start in planning and decor. They wanted a casual, beach wedding with a touch of elegance. SoHo Tacos were served for dinner and a Sweets Table with different delicious desserts!
They had a friend make all the clay pots and they made the succulents centerpieces and favors. They created a perfect decor for each table!
Wine barrel was used for the ceremony table and cake table, adding to the rustic beach decor.
They are a darling couple who were a joy to to work with…..

Rachelle & Judson Surprise Wedding Vow Renewal on March 16, 2012
Romance anyone? Judson had contacted me to plan a surprise Wedding Vow renewal. They got married last year and felt they had missed so much that comes with the planning that special day and including your family, friends. He wanted them to be able to read their vows to each other, one to one and have the ceremony on the beach just for the two of them under a beautiful arch in Laguna Beach.
Did we mention, it was a complete surprise!
Judson had told her to pack for a beach weekend and buy a new sun dress. He drove her to Hotel Laguna with a blindfold on and I met them in the lobby and we walked outside to the terrace. Judson left to meet her down to the sand at the ceremony site and I removed the blindfold – she started to cry and was so surprised.
Rachelle grew up in Laguna Beach so we thought it would be wonderful to hold the ceremony close to a place that felt like home and
their first date was at Salernos so the photographer took them downtown for photos at the restaurant and returned to the beach for photos to capture these romantic memories.
After renewing their vows Rachelle & Judson released two doves and last but not least kissed the bride!
It was our pleasure to help Judson plan this romantic renewal of vows in Laguna Beach and we just have to mention the special people who helped make it happen!
