Rachelle & Judson Surprise Wedding Vow Renewal on March 16, 2012
Romance anyone? Judson had contacted me to plan a surprise Wedding Vow renewal. They got married last year and felt they had missed so much that comes with the planning that special day and including your family, friends. He wanted them to be able to read their vows to each other, one to one and have the ceremony on the beach just for the two of them under a beautiful arch in Laguna Beach.
Did we mention, it was a complete surprise!
Judson had told her to pack for a beach weekend and buy a new sun dress. He drove her to Hotel Laguna with a blindfold on and I met them in the lobby and we walked outside to the terrace. Judson left to meet her down to the sand at the ceremony site and I removed the blindfold – she started to cry and was so surprised.
Rachelle grew up in Laguna Beach so we thought it would be wonderful to hold the ceremony close to a place that felt like home and
their first date was at Salernos so the photographer took them downtown for photos at the restaurant and returned to the beach for photos to capture these romantic memories.
After renewing their vows Rachelle & Judson released two doves and last but not least kissed the bride!
It was our pleasure to help Judson plan this romantic renewal of vows in Laguna Beach and we just have to mention the special people who helped make it happen!

Casa Romantica in San Clemente was the perfect location for Megan & Brian’s Wedding! Megan grew up in San Clemente and Brian really wanted their photos to include the beautiful, near by beach. You will notice how fitting it is with the vintage ocean theme, starfish, sand dollars and a meaningful walk on the beach to remember.
A family friend performed the ceremony for the Wedding followed by heartfelt speeches by the Fathers of the couple that will be cherished moments when Megan & Brian look back on their special day.
Megan & Brian chose a Vintage Ocean Theme for their Wedding and with the help of the Flower Company of San Clemente and the stunning creativity of Megan and her Mother with the beautiful candy table, stained glass and sand dollars guest placeholders to add all the right touches.
Photographer, Kate Noelle did a beautiful job capturing the magic and beauty of the day as well as the couple wish to be photographed at the beach…… they even made it back on time for the Grand Entrance in front of all their loved ones.
That’s me, with the bride and groom above and it was such a pleasure to plan and coordinate Megan & Brian’s Wedding with special help from these amazing and talented vendors whose special touches made this day romantic and magical!

Alisha & John met and fell in love at work and are blending families and celebrating their special day with unique touches at the beautiful Dove Canyon Country Club with their children, family and friends.
A little pre-wedding tid bit – Photos were taken at Rancho Capistrano before the wedding and the whole family did a sand ceremony performed by Reverend Brent. It was a touching, heartfelt, personal ceremony filled with laughter.
Family, friends and the kids were so excited for this day and it showed in the smiles on everyone’s faces…
Everyone participated in making this day special, John’s Mother did the calligraphy for the guests names in the decorative black frames.
Kendra the photographer, created a photo booth with this stunning backdrop and chandelier, there were instant photos and they were placed in the album signed by the guests with well wishes.
Another Wedding Secret… The food at Dove Canyon was to die for, but as a late night snack Alisha & John arranged for a Fatburger truck to arrive at 10:00 PM to keep the party going all night!
Another happy couple, who headed off to Hawaii for the honeymoon after their fabulous Wedding and FUN reception. The day would not be complete without mentioning all the special vendors that helped make this day meaningful and memorable for Alisha & John and their family and friends.

The ABC’s of Throwing a Party
We recently attended the monthly event for the Association of Bridal Consultants (ABC)
and it was fantastically elegant.
All of the vendors really went crazy for the wonderful venue. Event was held at Tustin Ranch Golf Club and the space was beautiful. The view out to the golf course would make any wedding, event or meeting extra special and we highly recommend taking a tour.
All of us computer challenged were thrilled to see The Chic Geek. Kelly Aguilar taught us all a bit about facebook and business at the opening of the evening. She has a great website and daily tips to keep you social media savvy.
Troy Grover Photography shot the event and you can see what fine work they do, we’ve used all their pictures in this post.
La Tavola Linens really spruced up the space with a gorgeous linen theme in chocolate and tangerine, perfect for a Summer or Fall event.
Menus and place cards were pretty and provided by Paperie And Planning. Pure perfection.
The centerpieces were to die for and supplied by Flower Fusion. The towers of sunflowers and daisies were fabulous and functional.
Desserts were decadent and delicious cake pops from Just A Bite Cake Pops. Displayed on a tower topped with a bride and groom pop, so cute, and so tasty.
Entertainment was provided by Black Tie Events, they definitely live up to their name and have been a staple in the business for years.
Even our chairs were beautifully provided by Chiavari Chairs. Comfortable and chic.
We always love to see a space decked out in elegance, and this event did not disappoint. Besides all the lovely food, wine and decor, the people are what really made this event wonderful.
